St. James Club, Antigua

This fashionable establishment situated on a 100 acre private peninsula lovingly ensconced by the sea. There are many alternatives other than the casino for patrons of the St. James Club, such as yacht sailing, discos and boat rides, and posh restaurants and of course the tempting beaches. The casino itself has roulette, poker and blackjack tables and 55 slot machines.

Casino Baden-Baden, Baden-Baden, Germany

The Baden-Baden casino, or as it’s locally known, the Kurhaus, to the west of the Oosbach River, is Germany’s first and biggest casino. The right wing houses the actual casino itself while the left wing bears a high-brow restaurant overlooking the gardens. The casino, which first opened in 1809, changed owners and was closed down during both world wars. Marlene Dietrich is known to have called it as “the most beautiful casino in the world”.

Mandarin Oriental, Macau, China

Macau, that was once a Portuguese colony is now governed by China, is extensively supported by the earnings of its gambling industry. Although the Mandarin Oriental is not the largest casino in Macau, it is the more upmarket and less crowded one. Atlantis Resort, Bahamas

The Atlantis Resort has the largest casino in the Caribbean and is one of the most pricey hotel suites in the world! It’s “Bridge suite” costs $25,000 per night. The casino has unbelievable sweeping view of the entire resort and boasts 80 gaming tables including blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps and Caribbean stud poker and nearly a thousand slot machines.

Sun City, Sun City, South Africa

The beautiful expression of Vegas in the African grasslands is called Sun City resort. Possessing four hotels, some safaris, golf course, a private park and even a wave pool, the most lavish part of the resort is The Palace of the Lost City. However, most of the gambling takes place in the Sun City Hotel. The casino has 40 poker, blackjack, roulette and punto blanco and more than 800 slot machines.
